We apologize for the lack of communication the last couple of months. It has been quiet in OZ, so the POZ leadership team has decided to take a little break to enjoy our brief Wisconsin summer. The next POZ event will be in September as we gear up for the November elections. We will get you a date and location ASAP. If you have any questions, feedback, or want to be part of the leadership team let us know. We could always use the help.
If you would like a Trump yard sign, let us know. Let's turn Ozaukee County into TRUMP country! Send an email to info@patriotsofoz.us.
There are two registered Republicans* running for the 20th State Senate District, Tim Ramthun and Dan Feyen. POZ has endorsed Tim Ramthun for the primary which will be held Tuesday, August 13. The 20th Senate District covers a portion of Ozaukee County which includes the Saukville, Fredonia and Belgium communities. Tim is asking for help finding homes for some small and large yard signs primarily in the Saukville area. If you are willing to put one in your yard, please let us know by sending us an email - info@patriotsofoz.us. Please support Tim Ramthun in his election run.
*The Patriots of Ozaukee County are not affiliated with any political party.
Please mark your calendars to make sure you vote in the August 13th primary for two important WI Constitutional Amendments which are in the form of a question. Both referendums will move the power for how and when Wisconsin will spend monies received from the Federal Government from the Govenor's office closer to We the People via the Legislature. A vote of YES will make that happen in the future.
QUESTION 1: “Delegation of appropriation power. Shall section 35 (1) of article IV of the constitution be created to provide that the legislature may not delegate its sole power to determine how moneys shall be appropriated?” VOTE - YES
QUESTION 2: “Allocation of federal moneys. Shall section 35 (2) of article IV of the constitution be created to prohibit the governor from allocating any federal moneys the governor accepts on behalf of the state without the approval of the legislature by joint resolution or as provided by legislative rule?” In short this will take the power away from the Govenor to have sole discretion as to how money received from the Federal Government will be spent. It will be determined by the legislature. VOTE - YES
Join me in celebrating A HUGE WIN FOR The members of Moms for Liberty and students and faculty in K-12 schools! They do not have to fear sharing their true views—including the view that gender is not fluid, that there are only MALE and FEMALE, and that private spaces and athletic teams should be kept sex-segregated. In a landmark ruling challenging the Department of Education’s blatant disregard for the First Amendment rights of K-12 and college students, a federal court in Kansas issued an opinion halting the Biden Department of Education’s Title IX changes in a lawsuit brought by Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) and Mountain States Legal Foundation (MSLF) on behalf of their clients who include Moms for Liberty, and the Young America’s Foundation.
We the parents, and those who are raising the next generation of leaders, are in need of a greater voice in schools. Moms For Liberty is a growing organization seeking a stronger voice for parents.
Moms For Liberty experienced a recent success in challenging the damaging Title IX changes proposed by the Biden administration and have tireless advocates in many other educational arenas. To further the cause, Moms For Liberty is seeking to expand their County membership network to be able to include as many impacted school districts as possible by a July 15th, 2024 legal action deadline.
That's where you come in.
Join Moms for Liberty and recruit as many parents of K-12 students as you are able. National Membership is always FREE. At least initially, many county chapters have a “free” membership as well. Joining is as easy as texting “LIBERTY” to 53445, or simply go to: momsforliberty.org and click “Join the Fight.” If you do not see a chapter in your county, click the county nearest to you, then enter your city of residence and ALL THE SCHOOLS your children attend (separated by a comma for families with kids in multiple schools).
As of the writing of this message, the Federal Court only requires submission of the SCHOOLS a Moms for Liberty member child attends. So that your child is protected, please consider becoming a member today and SPREAD THE WORD! In addition, I hope you thoughtfully consider how you might be a key leader as we attempt to onboard many new county chapters in large counties, we need MULTIPLE leaders! What an exciting prospect this would be. Please feel free to email me directly. Thanks so much for your consideration!

The "silent majority" is killing our country. Hope is not a strategy. You must get engaged, get educated, have a clue what is going on in your backyard, and SHOW UP. Please consider supporting two very worthy causes in your backyard.

Come out and spend some time with like-minded people and meet the board that’s working hard to launch this incredible new game-changing school. The school’s curriculum offers an exclusive “World of Work”TM program that has students spending time each week learning about different career paths from local and area partner companies. This component will give them a far better idea of opportunities in the real world.
Please purchase tickets in advance and get more details at www.NCAwi.org/CasinoNight
All tickets purchased are tax-deductible and, for a limited time, the ticket purchase price will be matched by a large donor. That means your donation and support will get doubled.
It’s important that we back this school at this time because large foundations and donors want to know how much support a “grass roots” venture like this has before they donate. The more people behind a cause, the more they’ll give!
Get your tickets at www.NCAwi.org/CasinoNight

A portion Ozaukee County (Belgium, Fredonia, Newberg, Saukville) falls into the Wisconsin 20th Senate District. With redistricting, there is no incumbent for this district and an open seat. There will be a primary on August 13th to determine the republican candidate for the November elections. This district is very conservative so whoever wins the republican primary race on August 13th will represent us in the 20th Senate District. Normally POZ does not pick sides between two republican candidates but in this case, we strongly feel Tim Ramthun is the clear choice for the following reasons:

We won some and we lost some, but what's most important is that now the hard work begins. There is always another election on the horizon so we can't just relax and move on with life. We need to stay engaged and vigilant. We need to let our elected officials know we are watching and hold them accountable. We need to be involved. We need to show up when called. We need to get more people out to vote each election cycle.
If you are interested, we have a private Facebook group to receive and distribute information. We ask that you only share relevant and local (i.e. Ozaukee County, Wisconsin) information you believe is important to our mission. Also please feel free to share any community service efforts and events.
This is a casual get-together to hang out with like-minded individuals, share ideas/information and chat about the April election. The strength of the POZ network is based on the many relationships that are created and developed as we fellowship.

The Republican Party of Ozaukee County (RPOC) is organizing the efforts of two WRITE-IN candidates for the Mequon-Thiensville Board of Education and needs your help with the write-in support of Sergey Babakhanov and Megan Heinzelman. The Patriots of Ozaukee County also endorse Sergey and Megan along with Andrew Hopkins, who already appears on the ballot. Because Sergey and Megan will not be on the ballot, volunteers will be handing out voter guides and instructions at the Mequon polling locations (see below) between 7am and 8pm on April 2. Any amount of time you are available will make a huge difference informing voters who the best candidates are for the Mequon-Thiensville Board of Education.
If you are willing and able, please contact Alex Leykin, Chairman of RPOC, who will coordinate the training, logistics, and literature. You can reach Alex Leykin by emailing him at chair@ozaukeerepublicans.com
All campaign laws will be followed. All campaigning must be conducted 100 feet from the entrance(s) to the polling location. The RPOC has identified safe and compliant locations which will be shared when you contact Alex.

April 2, 2024 election guide. Please share.
We are endorsing 2 new write-in candidates along with Andrew Hopkins, who is already on the ballot. There will be a place on your ballot to write-in the names:
Michelle Godden is the current Ozaukee County District 20 supervisor and endorsed by Sheriff Christy Knowles and County Supervisors, Marty Wolf, Pat Foy, Joshua Haas and Scott Rishel. We believe Michelle has the discernment and courage needed as an elected official and should be reelected. This spotlight will focus on her opponent Ariba Khan who has many "red flags".
Here is an important election spotlight for Ozaukee County Supervisor - District 16 which is a within the City of Cedarburg.
We have had many emails and phone calls regarding these two very important Wisconsin State Constitutional referendums on the April 2 ballot. Both are election-related ("Zuckerbucks") and if you are in favor of cleaning up our election process in Wisconsin a “YES” vote is required for both. Please read and vote Yes.
